Website Design Tips – Distorted or Disproportionate Images

runSo, you decided to do your website on your own anyway and the picture is just not the right size and you start dragging it’s edge around and end-up with a totally distorted or disproportion image.

While it fits the space perfectly, it makes your site appear unprofessional and the visitor may just move on after looking at your “homemade” looking website. Not only does it look terrible but the file size does not change when you scale the image so it will cause the page to load slowly and turn the visitor away.

Always size your images correctly and make them appear proportionately on your website.
