Website Design Tips – Giant Images

Some people have a hard time figuring out how to change the hi-resolution settings on their digital camera or can’t seem to find a simple enough program on their computer to size their pictures.

They end up with an image on the website that is 3000 pixel tall and 6000 pixel wide.

An image this size will not display on the screen and while some browsers tend to reduce the image to fit the window, the image still wrecks the webpage and it looks very unprofessional. Not to mention these photographs makes the website load forever and you end up loosing potential customers.

Try to find a program on your computer or online that you can use to size your images correctly or if you get frustrated, contact us.
