Website Design Tips – Useless Animation

Website Design Tips – Useless Animation

The time has come when I have to start sharing all what I know about website design. So, I will be sending out a series of tips that you should consider when creating a website. They are going to be short and sweet, so stay tuned.

So, here is the first tip for the week:

Don’t Add Useless Animation on your Website

phoneIf you use animated images on your website it must deliver a valuable message or call to action. Those cute little animated phones, spinning globes to indicate “contact us” and other animated graphic files like flying bats, went out with the ’90s. Animations also tend to use up bandwidth and page load time is long so use it only if necessary.

Make your site visit a pleasant experience!
